Choosing where uploads go
Pick Cloudflare R2, Amazon S3 or Backblaze B2, or keep captures on your computer. One is in use at a time.
Open Settings › Storage. You'll see four tiles under Uploads go to:
This Mac (Windows: This PC): uploads are off. Captures stay on your computer.
Cloudflare R2: "No fees for views".
Amazon S3: "Pay as you go".
Backblaze B2: "Low cost views".
Which should I pick?#
Not sure? Pick Cloudflare R2. It charges nothing when people open your links, which is what makes share links cost money elsewhere. It's the one we suggest first.
Already use AWS? Amazon S3 works the same way, and you can keep everything in one place.
Want to keep costs low and don't mind a few extra steps? Backblaze B2 is a good fit.
All three work the same way in VizShot, and you can change your mind later.
One in use, others remembered#
Only one place is in use at a time, shown by a green In use badge. Providers you've set up before stay remembered on this computer, with a grey Set up badge and their secret key safely in the Keychain (Windows: Credential Manager). Switching back is a click and Save, with nothing to retype.
Nothing changes until you press Save.
Switching and removing#
Switch by picking another tile and pressing Save. Picking This Mac and saving turns uploads off. The provider stays set up for later.
Remove a provider with its Remove button. VizShot deletes its keys from this computer. Your bucket isn't touched.
