Put links on your own address
Make links look like shots.yourname.com instead of a provider's address.
By default your links use your storage provider's address. With your own domain, they look like https://shots.yourname.com/2026/10/….png. They look tidier, and you can change providers later and keep the same address.
The idea is the same for every provider: point an address you own at your bucket, then put that address in VizShot's Link address field.
Cloudflare R2 (the easy one)#
Your domain needs to be on Cloudflare for this.
Open your bucket in R2 and go to Settings.
Under Custom Domains, press Connect Domain and enter an address like
shots.yourname.com.Confirm. Cloudflare sets up the DNS record and the certificate for you.
Amazon S3#
S3 serves files from your own domain through Amazon CloudFront.
Create a CloudFront distribution with your bucket as its origin.
Add your address (like
shots.yourname.com) as an alternate domain name, with a certificate for it.At your domain's DNS, point that address at the CloudFront distribution.
AWS's documentation walks through each step.
Backblaze B2#
Put a CDN or proxy, like Cloudflare, in front of your bucket, and point your address at it. Backblaze has a guide on setting this up with Cloudflare.
Then tell VizShot#
Open Settings › Storage and choose the provider.
Put your address in Link address, like
https://shots.yourname.com. It must start withhttps://, and it can't contain a?or a#.Press Save.
Upload something and open the link to check. Old links keep their old address. The new address only applies to new uploads.
