Upload after every capture
Switch it on and each capture is uploaded for you, with the link ready to paste.
In Settings › Storage, with a provider set up, switch on Upload after every capture. From then on, every capture is uploaded the moment you take it.
What happens#
You capture. The picture goes onto your clipboard and into your captures folder, as always.
VizShot uploads it in the background. The card shows that it's uploading.
When it's done, your clipboard gets the share link in place of the picture, and the card says "Link copied to clipboard".
So if you paste a moment too soon, you get the picture. Paste a few seconds later and you get the link.
Good to know#
You need a link address. Without one, Settings asks for it: "Add a link address so there is a link to copy."
If an upload fails, the card says Upload failed, with the reason, and stays until you close it. Press Try again to have another go. The capture is still saved on your computer either way.
Two captures in a row are both uploaded. Your clipboard gets the link for the newest one only.
Recordings have their own switch. This one is for screenshots. For videos, switch on Upload recordings automatically in Settings › Recording. It's off by default too, because recordings are large. See watch and share a recording.
It's off by default, so nothing is uploaded unless you choose it. You can always upload one capture by hand with Get link on the card, or Upload in the editor.
