Capture, backdrop, share.
From a bare screenshot to one ready to post.
Tools that go well with a backdrop.
Before you post it.
It only adds margin
A shape grows the backdrop round your screenshot. Nothing is cut off, and the padding you set is the least there is on any side.
Your screenshot is not touched
A backdrop changes what you save, copy or upload. Choose None and you are back to the original, pixel for pixel.
16:9 for a slide, 1:1 for a square post
Auto keeps the screenshot’s own shape. The other three fit a slide, a video or a social post.
Keep your own to use again
Make a backdrop from your own colour, gradient or picture, and VizShot keeps up to six of them.
The same on Mac and Windows.
Same steps, same tools. Only the shortcut changes. One key covers two computers.
Asked, and answered.
How do I add a background to a screenshot?
Open the screenshot in VizShot’s editor and press Backdrop. Pick a gradient, a colour or your own picture, then save, copy or upload it.
Can I use my own picture or brand colour?
Yes. Make your own backdrop from a colour, a gradient or a picture. VizShot keeps up to six of yours to use again.
What shapes can it make?
Auto keeps the screenshot’s own shape. 16:9, 4:3 and 1:1 grow the backdrop to that shape, with the screenshot in the middle.
Does it change my original screenshot?
No. The backdrop is added when you save, copy or upload. The screenshot underneath stays as it was.
What happens after the 14 days?
You get 14 days with every feature. After that, VizShot keeps taking screenshots, but saving, uploading and recording need a key.
