Press, drag, paste.
Two tools that help in the editor.
Good to know.
Nothing leaves your computer
Your Mac or PC reads the words itself, so nothing is uploaded, and it works with no internet at all.
Tables keep their columns
Each row comes out as a line with a tab between its columns, so a table pasted into a spreadsheet lands in its own cells.
Words, not a picture
Nothing is saved, put in Recent captures or uploaded. Want the picture too? Press Edit on the card.
On Windows, a language part
Windows reads the languages it has a text recognition part for. Most display languages bring one, and if yours doesn’t, VizShot says where to add it.
The same on Mac and Windows.
Same steps, same tools. Only the shortcut changes. One key covers two computers.

Asked, and answered.
How do I copy text from a screenshot?
In VizShot, press ⌘⇧0 on a Mac or Ctrl+Shift+0 on Windows and drag over the text. The words are on your clipboard, ready to paste.
Can I copy text from a screenshot I already took?
Yes. Open it in VizShot’s editor, from the card or from Recent captures, and press Copy text.
Does it work offline?
Yes. Your computer reads the words itself, so it needs no internet and nothing is uploaded.
Which languages can it read?
On a Mac, the languages macOS can read, which it works out by itself. On Windows, the languages Windows has a text recognition part for.
What happens after the 14 days?
You get 14 days with every feature. After that, VizShot keeps taking screenshots, but saving, uploading and recording need a key.
