Crop and rotate
Crop to a region and turn the picture in quarter turns. Undo brings back the size and your marks.
Trim a capture to the part that matters, or turn it the right way up. Both live in the editor.
Crop#
Pick the Crop tool, or press C. The picture dims and the bar says "Drag a region".
Drag the part you want to keep. A grid of thirds and the size appear inside it. Drag a corner to adjust it, or drag somewhere else to start a new region.
Press Enter or Apply crop. A message confirms: "Cropped to W × H".
To cancel, press Esc. Press it a second time and the editor closes.
Rotate#
Press ] to turn the picture right, or [ to turn it left. These are whole quarter turns. There's no free-angle rotate. Four turns bring you back to where you started.
Your marks follow#
Arrows and boxes stay on the same part of the picture when you crop or rotate. And Undo brings back both the full size and your marks, in one step.
If you've uploaded already#
Cropping or rotating changes the picture, so an earlier link no longer matches. The Copy link button goes back to Upload, with a note: "Changed since the upload. Upload again for a new link."
