How early access and the free key work
The first people to ask get a VizShot key that is free for life. Enter your email, confirm it, and the key arrives.
Early access gives the first people who ask a key that's free for life. It works on two of your computers, Mac or Windows. All we ask is that you tell us honestly what feels rough. (It was called Founding Testers at first.)
How it works#
Enter your email on the early access page, and say whether you use a Mac, Windows or both.
Confirm your email with the link we send you.
Your key arrives by email within a minute and waits in your account. Nobody has to approve it. Activate it like any other key.
Send feedback as you go, with the feedback form or by replying to the email.
Good to know#
The keys are limited. When they are all taken the page says so, and you can still try VizShot free for 14 days.
One email, one key. Asking twice doesn't give a second one.
Confirmed, but no key? If the last key went just before you confirmed, your page says "The free keys ran out." and points you to the free trial. If keys are paused, it says "You're confirmed." and your key is next when they open again.
No key for your address? In the rare case we can't give an address a key, your page says "No free key this time." We keep such a request for 90 days and then delete it.
We ask for feedback, not obligations. There's no minimum. The more specific you are, the more it helps.
