My key won't activate
Match the message on the License tab to the list, and you will know what to do.
Look at the message under the key box in Settings › License.

| "That key didn't work. Paste it straight from the email." | Copy it again from your welcome email or from your account. Paste only the key, with nothing around it. Spaces at the ends don't matter |
| "This key is on 2 computers already. Remove one in your account, then try again." | Both places are used. Free one and try again |
| "This key was turned off or refunded. Reply to your receipt if that is a mistake." | The key isn't active. If you didn't ask for a refund, write to us |

It was working, and now it's back on the trial#
If the License tab says one of these, your key was taken off this computer:
"This Mac was taken off your key, so VizShot is back on the trial. Paste the key again to put it back." (On Windows it says "This PC".) Someone removed this computer from the key, in the account or from another computer. Paste the key again, if there's a place free.
"Your key was turned off or refunded, so VizShot is back on the trial."
VizShot keeps taking screenshots either way, and each one is still copied to your clipboard. If this computer's 14-day trial is already over, saving, uploading and recording need a key again until one is put back. Nothing you saved before is touched. How the free trial works has the details.
Still doesn't work#
Write to [email protected], from the email you bought with. Tell us the message you see, word for word, and the last four characters of your key. Please don't send the whole key in an email.
